CONGREGATION DARCHEI NOAM SYNAGOGUE

MINNEAPOLIS, MN

Designed in collaboration with Jay Isenberg, Isenberg+Associates as the lead Architect.  I worked with Jay and the building committee for the Synagogue to develop and  refine  the  programmed  spaces, site design, structural design, and material / finishes selection.  Located at the intersection of Minnetonka Blvd. and Joppa Avenue, this 5,000 sf house of worship is designed to provide a smooth transition from the street and surrounding neighborhood into the embrace of a community of faith.  Due to the constricted nature of the site we worked closely with CivilSite Group to create a storm-water management plan and grading plan to re-direct and retain not only the runoff of this site, but that of the neighbors as well.
